Steam system training October 1st 2010 Spirax Sarco has published its 2011
prospectus for steam system training,
which aims to impart information
on new skills to cut costs and
improve the efficiency of steam plant
operations.
An important new addition for
2011 is the Boiler Plant Regulations
and Guidelines course (D8). This
provides a broad overview of
legislation, guidance and best
practice for boiler operators and
helps users, or potential users, to
understand their legal obligations.
Ever popular is Spirax Sarco's
Energy Savings course (E1).
Delegates learn about energy saving
opportunities in steam systems, how
to estimate the energy requirements
of a steam plant and how to calculate
the payback period. The application
of these skills and energy saving
