Steam system training
October 1st 2010

Spirax Sarco has published its 2011 prospectus for steam system training, which aims to impart information on new skills to cut costs and improve the efficiency of steam plant operations.

An important new addition for 2011 is the Boiler Plant Regulations and Guidelines course (D8). This provides a broad overview of legislation, guidance and best practice for boiler operators and helps users, or potential users, to understand their legal obligations.

Ever popular is Spirax Sarco's Energy Savings course (E1).

Delegates learn about energy saving opportunities in steam systems, how to estimate the energy requirements of a steam plant and how to calculate the payback period. The application of these skills and energy saving ideas can make a significant impact on an organisation's energy bills.
