TOP NOx RATING
March 1st 2009 It is reported that independent testing
of Hoval's UltraGas boilers has
confirmed that the average NOx
emissions are less than 40mgkWh.
This means that UltraGas, across its
range of outputs from 15 to 1440kW,
achieves the maximum BREEAM
rating of three points
relating to NOx emissions.
The most recent testing
was carried out to DIN EN
676 by GWI (GasWarme
Institut e.V.) across a range
of outputs and supersedes
earlier testing carried out
at high fire – which did
not represent average
emissions during use.
Also, when tested in line
with the European Boiler
Efficiency Directive UltraGas boilers
are said to achieve net efficiencies of
