R22 VRF upgrade

Daikin Europe announces VRV-Q as a cost-effective upgrade for systems operating on the soon to be banned R22 refrigerant. Due to its high ozone depleting potential, a total ban on R22 will come into force in 2015 and no new R22 can be purchased from Jan 2010. The VRV-Q solution allows existing R22 piping and in some cases even the indoor units and controllers to be retained and replaces only the outdoor units and BSVQ-boxes (in case of heat recovery). This allows a phased replacement, a spreading of investment costs and a minimal business disruption.VRV-Q is available in configurations of 5-30 HP, in heat pump and heat recovery models.
