Warm air speaks volumes
August 1st 2009

Bose GP Ireland, manufacturer of speakers and home cinema systems, has invested in a Talbotts wood energy system to reduce wood waste landfill charges and energy costs.

The Talbott C6 1mW Warm Air system provides factory space heating for areas up to 50,000ft2, whilst using approximately 4800kg per day of onsite generated wood waste.

The automated system incorporates a 70m3 storage silo, Untha LR 1400 shredder, discharge and C6 warm air heater, which has been integrated into a dust extraction system provided by Air Plants Dust Extraction of Leicester.

Talbotts was selected due to the company's established presence within the Irish market and the assurance of the ability to tailor the solution to satisfy the customer's needs in an efficient and cost effective manner.
