The new WFI-Flex power control from Christ Aqua Pharma & Biotech can help reduce water treatment costs. WFI production systems are generally designed to handle maximum expected consumption and are thus larger than necessary for normal operation. The systems are regularly turned on and off because of the limited capacity of the following storage tanks. Thus valuable energy is lost as a result of heating, rinsing and cooling.

Furthermore, feed water and cooling water are consumed unnecessarily.

The WFI-Flex control can operate in a range from 10 to 100% at maximum load. The power is increased or decreased as a function of the level in the tank, so the number of on-off switching cycles can be greatly minimised.
