To help solve problems in the supply chain caused by assets with missing or non readable tags, ImageID has developed a new technology. DUAL (Detection of Unlabeled Asset Location) is a spatial analysis algorithm, which when coupled with imaging-based barcode detection or any other source of information regarding the assets' size and contour, can identify assets with missing or non-readable barcodes, which otherwise would not be accounted for and treated as non-existent.

The system utilising DUAL provides a clear visual output that displays both the assets that were detected by their barcodes and the assets that were detected by the DUAL algorithm as assets without codes.
