Overload protection
October 1st 2009 REID Lifting has further enhanced
its lightweight, portable lifting
solutions with integrated overload
protection chain hoists across all its
lifting systems – Porta-Davit, Porta-
Gantry, T-Davit and Porta-Quad – to
WLL 5000kg.
The new overload protection chain
hoists provide protection for the user,
the load and the lifting system from
those situations where peak loading
or unknown forces may be present, at
no additional cost to most standard
chain hoists. If activated the overload
mechanism will stop further hoist
lifting operation, but will allow
controlled lowering. |
