has launched the 53XL thermal
transfer coder. This latest addition to
the company's cost effective, high
performance 53 series features a large
print area up to 53mm x 80mm,
allowing users to easily print fixed
and variable text, data and graphics,
as well as reproduce barcodes, real
time, sell-by dates, batch numbers,
prices and source codes.
Also capable of printing Julian data
and 2D DataMatrix codes, the
affordable 53XL is suitable for food,
cosmetics and pharmaceutical
applications. It is available in
intermittent motion for easy
integration with a wide range of
packaging equipment including
vertical and horizontal form-fill-seal
systems, primary labellers,
thermoformers and overwrapping
equipment.
Like other models in the range, the
53XL offers reduced maintenance and
type changes, resulting in a lower cost
