Plastic barrier manufacturer, A-Safe, has worked successfully with Rexam France to maintain and develop personnel safety at the company's Lacq plant. This involved the installation of A-Safe pedestrian barriers throughout the 14,000m2 production hall to effectively segregate the 180-strong workforce from vehicle traffic.

Says Hubert de Mijolla, technical manager: "Since installation, A-Safe has helped to create a low-hazard working environment, separating the circulation of pedestrians and forklift trucks and restricting the crossing to designated crosswalks as it is not possible to jump over or squeeze between the barriers."
