Safety certification
May 1st 2009 Pilz Ireland is pleased to announce
that its Engineering Management
Systems have been independently recertified
by TUV SUD. The
certification of the Functional
Management System, (FSM) refers to
the implementation of Electrical,
Electronic and Progammable Systems
for industrial safety applications in
accordance with EN IEC 61508. It is
relevant to the implementation of
instrumented systems, automation and
control for process safety in amongst
other sectors, the food, beverage and
