Keeping safety on its toes
October 1st 2009

To demonstrate how its Slipp-R steel toe cap overshoe can accommodate different heel types, Safetytoes International has produced a video of professional Celtic musicians and dancers from the Brogue Celtic Music and Dance Company wearing the product.

The one minute movie shows three Irish dancers in a janitorial setting, a fairly typical industrial scenario for safety overshoes. Two of the dancers are wearing flat-soled runners while the third dancer is wearing traditional Irish dance shoes with a full heel.

"We wanted to show the Slipp-R in all its glory, and fitting over a pair of traditional Irish step dancing shoes certainly does that," says Patrick Smyth, CEO. The video is available to view at www.youtube.com/watch?v=- mCHh4i8grE.

Providing high levels of cut and abrasion resistance, the CE approved Slipp-R is also reported to cost less than a safety shoe.
