Sensible savings
March 23rd 2009 Energy Sense Ireland has launched the latest improved ‘Save It Easy’ T5 retrofit ballast at the annual Resource & Recover show at the RDS Dublin. It’s good news for hard pressed facility managers with up to 59% power savings for fluorescent lighting. The new units run T5 fittings at even lower loads while maintaining lighting lux levels. The lower power rating offers bigger cost savings and shorter payback periods while reducing CO2 emissions. From March 1st 2009 all 2ft quad orders will use the new technology.
