IOSH Seminar in Cork on the New Machinery Directive May 6th 2009 Pilz Ireland in association with the Southern district of IOSH Ireland will host a presentation on the New Machinery Directive and its implications for business. The presentation, titled "The New Machinery Directive – Pathway to Serious Injury Prevention” will focus on the changes from the old directive including changes in essential health and safety requirements.
The Seminar will be held at the Rochestown Park Hotel, Rochestown, Cork at 6pm on Tuesday 12th May 2009. Anyone interested in the New Machinery Directive is welcome to attend.
The New Machinery Directive which is due to come into force on the 29.12.09 has no transition period therefore now is the time where businesses must look at their current practices in order to be in compliance by the end of the year.
