Taking tyres to new markets

Watts Tyre Group has announced Watts Off Highway has been appointed as GKN's distributor for Ireland to service the construction and agricultural markets.

Watts will distribute GKN Wheels FAD's range of wheels for trailed agricultural equipment as standalone units and as fitted tyre and wheel assemblies to OEM's.

Watts Off Highway also offer tyre products including floatation, open centre, multipurpose and all terrain tyres in a range of sizes. All products are available via direct dispatch for volume orders or as local purchases through the Watts depot in Belfast.

"This is a fantastic opportunity to broaden our scope of operations," says Watts OE manager Paul Cook.

"Our agreement with GKN allows us to enter new markets."
