Aggregate sites
throughout the UK are
enabling staff to keep on
top of urgent and nonurgent
repairs, improving
plant efficiency and
helping reduce safety
incidents.
At Tarmac's Greenwich Wharf, it s
expected that within the first 12
months financial gains of over
£100,000 will be made through less
downtime and improved performance.
One person in each 'zone' is
responsible for flagging any safety/
maintenance issues,
prioritising these in terms
of safety and impact on
plant operation. This is
done by completing a T
Cards incident card and
placing it in the appropriate
column on the
Maintenance Defect boards.
At Tarmac, red T Cards
indicate urgent action;
cream cards are used for alerts for
non-urgent action. More articles from T Cards Direct Limited: |
