First Great Western has installed A-Safe safety barriers at its 17,000m2 train maintenance depot in Laira, Devon. The company needed highly visible barriers to prevent staff falling from the 3m high platforms.

Neil Reed, depot manager says: "The team that came to fit the barriers was excellent. They worked really well with my staff and did all they could to keep business running as usual – which is important when you work in the transport industry."
