Avoid fouling May 1st 2009 Alfa Laval's latest spiral heat
exchanger has been developed to
provide an economical solution to
liquid/liquid heat transfer duties
where fouling matter, such as scaling,
sedimentation, larger particulate
matter and algae is a problem.
Used for heating, cooling or heat
recovery, it is designed to enhance
thermal performance and simplify
service and maintenance. Fabricated
from two concentric shells, ALSHE
LTL60 can incorporate channels
from 8 to 16mm in width, enabling
it to handle viscous and particulatebearing
fluids with minimal risk of
fouling. The unit also has a large heat
transfer area and a removable/
replaceable inner core that simplifies
service. More articles from Alfa Laval Limited: |
