Probe for high temperatures
August 1st 2010 ABB Measurement Products has
launched its latest combustion gas
analysers for industrial and utility
boiler applications. Featuring a
revised sensor design and an
increased choice of probe lengths up
to 4m, the Endura AZ20 expands
ABB's offering to a new range of
high temperature applications to
800°C.
Made using a new ceramic-tosteel
bonding process, the robust
AZ20 offers improved resistance to
thermal stresses and shocks, enabling
it to be used in a wide range of
applications subject to sudden
variations in process temperature. It
offers a gas tight bond throughout its
operating temperature range.
With fewer parts requiring
servicing or replacement, the AZ20
offers simplified maintenance and, in
the event that problems do occur,
NAMUR-compliant diagnostics –
with warnings in clear text – enable
