Resistant to oil spillages
March 1st 2010

The development of a 15mm magnesium oxychloride screed that provides joint-free flooring and has a lifespan in excess of 40 years, opens up new opportunities for industrial flooring. The screed, called PermaFloor from Q Flooring Systems is also extremely hardwearing and resistant to pitting, oil spillage and plant vehicle movement, making it ideal for heavy industrial applications. PermaFloor can be laid over existing concrete, steel tiles, terrazzo tiles and ceramics and does not require joints within its own structure. It's chemical resistance to engine oils, lubricating grease and skydrol oil means that PermaFloor is used extensively in the auto and engineering sectors and has been installed at the likes of Land Rover and Bombardier Aerospace in Belfast.
