Now intrinsically safe

KAC Alarm Company used the recent International Firex to launch intrinsically safe versions of its WCP IP67 outdoor call point. The conventional version is approved for use in Group 0 gas and Group 20 dust environments, the addressable is approved for Group 0 gas environments.

The company also offers a wide range of MCP manual call points and audible-visual warning indicators for use in conventional and addressable fire systems.

Both the WCP and MCP benefit from a modular design that speeds installation and enables the zone or loop wiring to be continuity and fault tested without the call point itself having to be installed.
