Randalls Fabrications has supplied two specially modified versions of its Simpak PP15 portable compacter for use in BIOGEN's waste recycling operations.

BIOGEN will use the compactors to handle food waste for delivery to the processing plant.Modifications include large tarpaulin-covered hoppers and a bale bar fitted to the main discharge door for ease of manoeuvring, drainage taps to remove liquid before transportation and an audible siren and flashing beacon wired from the three-quarter light to warn personnel in the factory.
