New bactericide-free cutting fluids
August 1st 2010 Henkel has developed two water
miscible, bactericide-free cutting
fluids that are said to reduce health
risks to employees, be easy to use and
implement prospective EU Biocide
Regulations.
Known as Multan 71-2 and 77-4,
these products incorporate a
technology that prevents bacteria
from absorbing nutrients from the
degradation of emulsifiers.
Due to its high lubricity,Multan
71-2 is suitable for all types of
machining, including grinding.
For high alloy steel and aluminium
machining,Multan 77-4 provides
high lubricity even at low
concentration. This product is said to
be especially suitable for centreless
