Diversified technology company 3M has launched an innovative two-part hybrid technology structural adhesive which, it is claimed, can save days of time when bonding bigHead and general fasteners.

3M Scotch-Weld Epoxy-Acrylic Hybrid Structural Adhesive 7271 B/A has been designed to instantly secure bigHead and other mechanical fasteners. It is suitable for a wide variety of substrates including composites, GRP (glass reinforced plastics), epoxy-based resins, aluminium and stainless steel.

Dispensed using the easy to use 3M Scotch-Weld EPX system, the adhesive can be applied with a manual or pneumatic handheld applicator.
