ATEX compliant blast machine

abrasive slurry blast machine has been
certified for use in potentially
explosive atmospheres in accordance
with the ATEX standard issued under
Directive 94/9/EC.
The certification applies to operation
in gas, vapour, mist or dust and
confirms that the equipment is safe
for use where explosive atmospheres
are likely to occur under normal
operation (Zone 1, Category 2).
The equipment is designed for use
with non-metallic, expendable,
granular media mixed with water to
produce an abrasive slurry suitable for
heavy-duty industrial cleaning
applications where control of dust
and fines is important. Pressure can
be adjusted between 10psi (0.7 bar)
